Dr. Casandra Wang, DMD

General, Cosmetic, and Restorative Dentist

Dr. Wang earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine from Augusta University’s Dental College of Georgia and pursued a rewarding General Practice Residency at The Brooklyn Hospital Center soon after. She works to ensure that her patient’s comfort comes first and likes to remind everyone that there is no bad question when it comes to learning more about your dental and oral health! Whether cosmetic or routine, she is passionate about providing you with the most positive dental experiences possible to help get you to where you want to be. When she’s not in the office, Dr. Wang enjoys watching stand-up comedy and looking for good food on the weekends.

Dr. Harry Cho

Board certified Periodontist

Dr. Harry Cho is a board-certified periodontist providing advanced periodontal and implant care. He earned his DDS from NYU College of Dentistry and completed specialty training in Periodontics at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine, where he also received a Master’s in Oral Biology and Pathology.

He specializes in regenerative procedures, soft tissue grafting, implant placement, and peri-implantitis management, and holds certifications in laser dentistry, platelet-rich plasma therapy, and pinhole surgical techniques. Dr. Cho has contributed to periodontal research, presented nationally, and is active in the American Academy of Periodontology and the Academy of Osseointegration. Fluent in English and Korean, he delivers comprehensive, minimally invasive, and personalized care focused on long-term function and aesthetics.

Dr. Andrea Ostiago, DDS

General Dentist

Dr. Andrea Ostiago is a general dentist who grew up in Lima, Peru and attended college and dental school in her home country. She worked in private practice for 2 years in Limat before moving to the USA in 2007, to pursue her dental dreams. Dr. Ostiago attended NYU College of Dentistry and graduated in 2013 from which she went on to complete a residency program at New York Hospital of Queens. She has been in private practice since 2015. Her expertise in restorative treatment along with cosmetic dentistry defines her strength in comprehensive dental care. Besides her experience, she is caring and compassionate and creates an easy environment to her patients. Outside of her dental profession, Dr. Ostiago is married and has two wonderful kids. She enjoys spending her spare time travelling on car trips within the US, with her farnilv.

S. Salvatore Salem, DDS, Dimplomate ICOI, Associate Fellow AAID

Implant and Cosmetic Dentistry

Dr. Salem is the Clinical Director of Austin Dental Plus. He is very passionate about the field of dentistry and sees it as an art. This is evident in the care and commitment he shows his patients everyday. Dr Salem is a Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral lmplantologists, an honor only a select group of doctors worldwide have achieved. He is a master of fixed implants and prosthodontics, although he staunchly believes this should only be recommended when absolutely necessary and only has his patients best interests at heart at all times when designing and recommending treatment plans.

Joseph Aronoff, DDS, MS.

Periodontist

Dr. Joseph Aronoff strives for excellence and provides ultimate attention to detail in all of the services he provides his patients. He received his D.D.S degree from NYU College of Dentistry in 2001. He then attended Temple University School of Dental Medicine, and earned his Masters Degree and Specialty Certificate in Periodontics and Oral Implantology in 2005. Furthering his achievements, Dr. Aronoff became a Fellow & a Diplomat of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists in 2007.

Sara Menashehoff, DDS

General Dentist

Dr. Menashehoff is a graduate of Columbia University’s College of Dental Medicine. Her expertise is comprehensive and ranges from root canal therapy to crowns and bridges. She is also trained to use contemporary cosmetic solutions, such as Invisalign and porcelain veneers, etc. Dr. Menashehoff’s treatment philosophy emphasizes education. She wants patients to fully understand their needs and the solutions available to them. When patients are informed, they make more educated choices about treatment, which in turn helps them achieve a healthier, more beautiful smile.

Shawn Gutman, DDS, MS.

Orthodontist

Dr. Gutman graduated from Lehigh University with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. He then graduated Columbia University College of Dental Medicine with his DDS and remained at Columbia to complete his 3 year residency training in orthodontics. He is a board certified orthodontist and holds a part time clinical faculty appointment at Columbia where he teaches orthodontic residents. When Dr. Gutman is not seeing patients, he is busy with his aquariums at home. He is an avid aquascaper and freshwater shrimp breeder.

Maria Sammut, RDH

Registered Dental Hygienist | Office Manager

Maria is a SUNY graduate and the head dental RDH. She takes charge of all hygiene protocols at Austin Dental Plus to ensure patient and staff safety is maintained and all patient treatments are fulfilled with the highest level of care that any practice can offer! Maria is very knowledgeable in hygiene maintenance and patient education. She makes her patient feel very comfortable at their visits and their hygiene Maintenance is her priority. Maria is in charge of all hygiene aspects at Austin Dental Plus and spends a lot of her time ensuring that all hygiene protocols are maintained to the highest standards.
